There are many activities that can lead to worship, however, there is a special place for music in worship. Music is able to cut across the spirit, body, and soul of a worshiper at the same time and bring us into Godâs presence faster. Worship through pure and consecrated music can usher in Godâs presence. Worship through songs is defined as songs sung into the heart of the Holy Spirit from the heart of the Father to the worshiper, and back to the Father.
Worship through musical sounds is defined as sounds blown into the heart of the Holy Spirit from the heart of the Father to the worshiper, and back to the Father. Worship through words and lyrics is defined as words spoken into the heart of the Holy Spirit from the heart of the Father and to the worshiper, back to the Father. Therefore for any song, any musical sound, any word or lyrics to translate into worship, it must be inspired by the Holy Spirit and must be for the purpose of giving it all to the Father.
Worship Music & Warfare
There is nothing that prepares for warfare more than worship and sounds of pure music. As powerful as words are, when words are pulled into songs, there is a double declaration in the heavens. The entire body, heart, and spirit of man and even the bones which are the core of the song begin to move to the melody of the Word joyfully. The individual declares words yet moves and dances along, the entire soul is lifted up and the soul rejoices, fearing nothing. The song conditions the mind of the individual and sets the perfect stage for the divine to come and take over the battle. In a spiritual war, joy is a great strategy and weapon - worship songs ahead of warfare make the entire difference.
